    • Advisor to small business owners, tax preparation, estate planning, personal financial planning, accounting services and audits.
  • 2006 – Present Hack, Steer & Company, LLC Salem, Ohio
    • In November 2006, Roger Hack and Steve Steer purchased the Salem office of Hill, Barth & King LLC. They are operating the business as it was prior to the purchase retaining the same employees and serving the community.

STEVEN D. STEER, CPA, is a principal with Hack, Steer & Co., LLC. Mr. Steer has extensive experience in consulting with individuals and business owners on accounting and tax issues. He has more than 25 years experience in the tax departments of national and regional accounting firms and continues as the chief tax resource for Hack, Steer & Company, LLC Mr. Steer earned his B.S. degree in accounting from Malone University and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1983.
